Student Union
The BFEI Student Union is the representative body for students. Its aim is to represent the views of students, individually and collectively on general aspects of College life and specifically on those that impinge directly on students. It seeks to co-ordinate social, cultural and sporting events. Representatives from each class are elected to the Union and from this, a chairperson, secretary and treasurer are appointed. Reps liaise between the Union and class groups.
The Student Union gives students an opportunity to organise events and clubs that they would like to see in the Institute. The Institute encourages all students to get involved in the Student Union activities. The co-ordination of these activities is facilitated by staff members.
The events run by the Union include:
- Fresher's Week
- BFEI Rag Day
- Soccer & Sports Tournaments
- Charity Events
- College Ball
- Social Events
